ABOUT THE SHOW
Kiki & The Inkblot is an interactive children’s television series that encourages creativity, storytelling, and artistic expression. Through engaging stories, fun characters, and audience participation, children discover the magic of their own imagination with the help of Kiki and her mischievous yet lovable inkblot friend, Inky.
Episode 1: Your Imagination Is Your Friend
Kiki introduces Inky and explains how he came to life from a spilled inkblot “mistake” mixed with her tear of frustration. She and Child of Wonder [the young viewer(s) at home] learn how imagination is a powerful tool that turns mistakes into magical new ideas. She writes a story about a mermaid’s magic rainbow tail, showcasing how Inky (the living embodiment of imagination) inspires her to create.
Episode 2: Luna the Moon Fairy
Inky provides a mysterious moon clue, leading to the tale of Luna, a fairy who must restore the moon’s glow. With help from Child of Wonder, Kiki builds the story and teaches problem-solving through creativity.
Episode 3: Sunny the Positive Puffer Fish
Inky inspires the tale of Sunny—a puffer fish who sees his tiny fish tank as a vast ocean. Despite grumpy tank mates, he keeps singing and spreading positivity. This episode teaches storytelling and songwriting as Kiki and Child of Wonder are inspired to write their first song together.
Episode 4: Boogie Woogie
This episode incorporates both songwriting and dance! Boogie Woogie, a little ghost afraid of the dark, finds confidence through music and movement. Kiki boogies along with the viewers at home to show how self-expression through dance is also a form of storytelling.
Episode 5: Princess Honeybelle’s Lullaby
Kiki, Inky, and Child of Wonder bring Princess Honeybelle’s story to life—a curious little bee who adores her mother, Queen Beeatrix. One day, Honeybelle gets lost in a storm but finds her way home by following the sound of her mother’s lullaby. Together, Kiki and Child of Wonder create a heartfelt song, emphasizing how music can comfort and guide us.
